The recommended pressures are indicated on technical drawings. Mineral hydraulic oil with hardness cst. 32/46/68
Filters must always ensure ± 25 μ filtration grade.
During the usage the maintain oil’s temperature in the range of 40÷50° c, avoiding pass 80° c. high temperature reduces oil’s viscosity and cause a worse lubrication of the moving parts, and consequently reduce cylinders life.
During opening and closure process, never submit the cylinder to radial loads.
Before every welding job on cylinder’s bottom or on the rod, it’s completely pull the rod out of the tube and protect the cromed bar. Before pushing back the rod check that all the weld joints are cold and the presence of welding drops to avoid irreparable damages.
NB: Absolutely avoid every welding jobs on cylinder’s tube external diameter.
If the paint needs to be dried in an oven, oven’s maximum temperature must be set to 80° c in order to prevent seal’s damages. Regarding cold painting jobs on every cylinders with exposed rod, carefully protect the rod. eventual paint rests would damage wipers and seals.
Rudiflex cylinders in it’s self are not dangerous, because all the materials used in the production are not dangerous. Although, when they are mounted on machines or tools, they could create dangerous conditions. For this reason we strongly recommend to everyone who install our products to carefully choose and use only cylinders that are suitable to the desired application, to mount the opportune valves and safety systems, and to strictly respect every machine’s referring norm.
N.B. Rudiflex shall not assume any liability for any fault or damage caused by the non-observance of these rules and by an inappropriate use of the hydraulic cylinders.
The hydraulic cylinder, when properly and carefully installed, do not needs particular maintenance during usage, although is very important to regularly check and change damaged seals.
Regularly check the state and conservation of the fluid will make sure that the hydraulic circuit is free of impurities and ensure a longer life to cylinder’s parts.
All the products in this catalogue are intended to be mounted only on applications that refers to the 2006/42 CEE (machinery directive) norm and further amendment.
N.B: It’s forbidden to turn on our products before the machine or the plant is declared conform to the referring norm.
